Don't cul-de-sac us.

The City closed SE 17th at Las Olas as a six-month test. Fifteen months later it is still closed, and a one-way SE 16th is next. Every car that used to leave that way now comes down SE 15th, SE 2nd Ct, SE 2nd St and SE 1st St. Those streets were never asked.

  1. Petition A asks: Reopen the SE 17th Avenue exit at Las Olas.
  2. Petition B asks: Keep SE 16th Avenue two-way.
  3. Both ask: Study the whole neighborhood before closing anything else.

City Commission: date to be confirmed

The street is not yet on a published Commission agenda. Agendas post about a week ahead. The moment it appears, everyone on the petition gets an email and a text with the date, the time and the room. Meetings are at the Police Department, 1300 W Broward Blvd, not City Hall.

  • Sign the petition below so you get the notice. That is the whole ask for now.
  • On the night: arrive early, wear anything navy, sit together.
  • Being in the room is the point. You will not have to speak.
